Curated by ...kruse, a day of films, talks and Q&A informed by Prof. Jem Bendell’s viral essay, Deep Adaptation: A Map for Navigating Climate Tragedy.

Inspired by the can-do, positive outlook of futurist Solarpunk ideology, speakers were invited to share how, using open source, D.I.Y tech, smart clothing and renewable energy, artists and communities could do more than just survive but even thrive in Bendell’s future dystopia.

Speakers & artists included Pauline Van Dongen, Kasia Molga, Prof Robin Price, Hipkiss & Grainey, Aidan Moesby and Dean Melbourne.
