 Back in 2018 I started a visual arts project exploring a future dystopia inspired by my fears about the climate crisis. The project focused on a character called Autcrone, a human/digital construct, or cyborg.

Over those seven years the project underwent many changes, moving from a visual arts project to a text based one and finally coming to rest in the novella, Stan.

This blog is an archive of all the ideas, research, visuals and writing that went into creating Stan's world, including chapters from an entire first novella written for my Masters dissertation in 2023.
